Individual Project About
Craigslist is an American classified advertisements website with sections devoted to jobs, housing, for sale, items wanted, services, community service, gigs, résumés, and discussion forums.

And now, craigslist finally has it’s brand new update in years!

It’s so well-known in the US that people are really familiar with its appearance. After research and multiple interviews, it’s important to keep the original feeling and vibe were at the same time to give an upgrade to the brand. The new logo and brand are inspired by the ASCII codes drawing that craigslist already have in their features. “<>” is programming language symbols, and the shorthand logo version “c<li>” is based on how coding languages present list as <li>, since craigslist is an online source platform, the digital feeling is the new visual language.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY " TALK TALK"The initial idea of craigslist was to help people get to know the new place and make friends in actual life. When these days people focus on phones and digital world way too much."TALK TALK" is a series campaign that takes place in public transportations such as buses, subways, and even planes! It encourages people to put down their phone for a while and talk to the stranger next to themselves. The portraits on posters are actual craigslist users and their living places, gathered and shot by Kremer Johnson Photography.

CRAIGS<STAR>A new rating system where a select group of users are rated and reviewed by others, then officially certified once they achieve consistently high evaluations.

CRAIGS<LOCKER>Offers a safer alternative to traditional Craigslist meetups by providing a secure third-party transit option. Instead of buyers meeting sellers at their homes, the company facilitates local exchanges in a neutral, controlled way — reducing awkward interactions between strangers and minimizing potential safety risks.”
